以氮氧分离膜为核心，利用空气中各组分透过膜时的渗透速率不同，在压力差的驱动下，使氧气优先通过膜，从而得到富氧空气。富氧燃烧所提供的氧气浓度更高，燃烧温度显著提高，能够更快与燃料反应，燃烧速度更快，高浓度的氧使得氧气与燃料接触面积增加，有效地提高燃料利用率，高浓度的CO2排放能够降低碳捕集与封存的成本。
